Rutile, Hematite, and Rutilated Quartz from Novo Horizonte, Brazil

Alright, bit of a mouthful, but a lovely specimen of rutile, hematite, and rutilated Quartz.

This is quite an uncommon piece, and I haven't seen a specimen this nice for a while - it was a difficulty deciding whether to sell it or not. It will sit proudly in my personal collection until someone decides they like it more than I do.

Pricing was difficult; there are numerous specimens online for two, three, or five times the price of this one, some of which frankly aren't as nice. I will consider offers on the price, please contact me directly.

While rutilated Quartz and Rutile on Hematite are both reasonably common, it isn't as often you find all three in one piece, especially quite like this.

A nice clear Quartz crystal shows us several golden Rutile inclusions, sat upon a bed of lamellar hematite and rutile crystals. The hematite is a dark gun-metal grey and contrasts well with both the clear Quartz and the golden Rutile. It measures approx 28.5x18.4x11MM.
