Nice specimens of botryoidal yellow-green prehnite on a basalt matrix from Loanhead Quarry. Often with minor calcite.
I think these will fit quite nicely in any British mineral collection.
Loanhead Quarry is an aggregate quarry but also produces some very nice mineral specimens, including Garnets, Epidote, Calcites and Prehnite.
I haven't found too much out about the quarry, only that it has been open since at least the early 90s and was purchased in 2006 by the Malcolm Group.
