Ametrine – polished slices

Polished Ametrine slices

Lovely purple and orange Ametrine slices, polished on both sides.

These slices are heavily included and sometimes cloudy.

• #1 - 86x46x7MM slice, this specimen is from Bolivia and shows off sectoral colour zoning. It contains Amethyst and Citrine, and several other unidentified inclusions - probably some Chlorite.
• #2 - 155.7x43x18.3MM - an unusual polished point, quite a nice large one. Sectoral colour zoning with Amethyst, Citrine, and Smoky Quartz.
