Pink Tourmaline Mineral Specimens (Rubellite)

Lovely quality specimen pieces of pink Tourmaline, otherwise known as Rubellite. These pieces are loose, not on matrix, and are a pretty good mineral specimen!

They tend to be decently clean - or at least have clean sections. We're not saying these are facet grade but certain pieces may be cuttable.

Because these are natural pieces, the amount of inclusions will differ, as will the size, shape, and colour of the piece. This is the basis of our grading system - B is better than C; A is better than B.

The A grade pieces are a bright or vivid pink without too much matrix, fragmentation, or inclusions. The B grade are a little paler, and the C grade are significantly paler and have often got some matrix and fragmentations.

The crystals themselves may not always be this distinct, either - some are fragments.
