Fossilised Palaeocarcharodon orientalis sharks teeth

Fossilised Palaeocarcharodon orientalis sharks teeth specimens from Morocco, dating to the Palaeocene.

Palaeocarcharodon is also known as the pygmy white shark - its teeth are typically serrated all the way, with separate cusps.

Our current stock includes:

  • #1 - 30.9x25.8x8.5MM - signs of a repair to the tooth, but quite a good one. Only immediately visible under UV light. Sharp serrations, cusps intact.
  • #2 - 33.6x25.8x8.9MM - good root, serrations are reasonably sharp, the cusps are either very minor or one is missing.
  • #3 - 21.3x27.4x5.8MM - obvious repair to the root. Cusps large, tooth slightly curved.
  • #4 - 28.4x25.1x6.8MM - root is a little damaged. Serrations sharp, one cusp missing, the other very small.
