Goethite and Calcite from Old Ham Mine (Clearwell Caves), Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England, UK

Nice little mixed up specimen of calcite over a goethite matrix from Old Ham Mine (the deeper part of Clearwell Caves).

I've seen a few similar calcite/goethite specimens from this site - so I'd say this is quite a good example from the locale.
