Tsavorite Garnet Specimens

We sell two quality grades of Tsavorite currently; a lower grade for collectors, and a higher grade that may be suitable for collectors or for cutting.

Our current stock of higher grade pieces is quite small - almost certainly too small for cutting.

• Higher grade pieces - around 5ct in total, 18 pieces. These pieces are very small, 2-5MM approximately.

Garnet is a fairly hard gemstone - these pieces can certainly be cut and polished, though. We have cut one with a Dremel cutoff tool, and polished some using a lapidary grinder - just make sure to work them wet.

The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade - but some photographs are still on their way!
