Fluorite from Bellerberg volcano, Vordereifel, Mayen-Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

Nice, but odd micromount specimen of fluorite from Bellerberg volcano, Germany.

This specimen is almost certainly from the Caspar Quarry, but the former owner unfortunately only labelled it as Bellerberg.

The reason I call this one odd? Look at the form - tiny opaline spherules. I immediately dismissed this as a fluorite when I saw the label, until I'd done some research and seen other specimens from this locale.

Magnification is absolutely essential for this specimen.

Comes boxed and mounted with our ID label and a former owners handwritten label.
