Fluorite and Calcite from Balochistan, Pakistan

Nicely etched specimens of fluorite and calcite from Balochistan.

Like a lot of the material from this area, these pieces were simply labelled 'Balochistan' rather than a specific mine unfortunately.

These are generally a pale blue-purple grey colour, and many have excellent 'etching' or crystal growth lines along the sides of the crystals.

Standard UV response in most of these, although the calcite is not fluorescent.
