Fluorapatite from Fowey Consols, Tywardreath and Par, Cornwall, UK
Small specimens of fluorapatite from Fowey Consols, a combined mine including Lanescot Mine, Polharmon Mine, Wheal Chance, Wheal Fortune, and Wheal Treasure.
These specimens are carbonate rich Fluorapatite, once referred to as francolite.
These pieces often occur with quartz, pyrite, arsenopyrite, and galena; they are quite mixed up matrix pieces. You'll almost certainly find some minerals I haven't spotted, as I had quite a few of these to look at quickly.
These range from micromount to thumbnail sized specimens, and magnification is essential. Some include radiating crystals, which look great under magnification.
