Faceted Danburite for jewellery making
Danburite is a gorgeous clear crystal that isn't often used for jewellery making - in fact, it's not commonly faceted. There are only a few locales which produce Danburite crystals of suitable quality to be faceted.
Danburite isn't entirely ideal for jewellery, as it only has a Mohs hardness of 7 - however, there are other faceted stones with lower hardnesses being used every day. Design a setting to protect the stone and it should be okay.
With that said, this stone and some of the other faceted stones we sell are more likely to go to collectors than jewellers.
