Calligraphy Stone tumblestones

Calligraphy Stone tumblestones, sometimes known as Miriam or miryam. This is a fossiliferous stone with an interesting contrast between orange shells and a brown matrix.

There is not much information about this material online, however, it seems the majority of it comes from India. It is typically sold rough, tumbled or carved.

We currently sell two grades, but unfortunately have very limited stocks of either grade! The only real difference is the contrast and sometimes the amount of shell inclusions.
