Very nice micro specimen of baryte from Cannington Park Quarry, Somerset.

This piece is a little unusual due to its colour – it doesn’t quite look like the sort of staining I’d expect from iron, but perhaps manganese.

#1 – This specimen was part of Roger Harkers collection and has three of his labels glued to the perky box it comes mounted in. One had detached and has been stuck back on with a conservation grade tape.

The specimen is mounted with glue into the box. Ex. Roger Harker, N. Hubbard collections.
