Amethyst Emma Egg
An Amethyst emma egg is an interesting way to show off the stone - a piece of Amethyst is roughly tumbled, and then has a single polished window ground into the stone. It creates a beautiful stone that looks almost like a river pebble with a slice cut off, revealing the colours inside.
Emma Eggs look amazing with light coming through them - in a box frame with LED lights, or a display in front of a window is a great way to show off the gorgeous purple shades.
These pieces are between one and two inches at their longest point, usually around 1.5 inch approximately. Being a natural gemstone, there can be a range of size and colour variations.
Emma eggs are sometimes known as 'window pebbles', 'dragons eggs', or 'seer stones'.
