An interesting specimen of Amethyst and Okenite, an interesting contrast of minerals between white snowball like crystal formations sitting on a purple-grey bed of Amethyst crystals.
The moment I saw this one I thought 'looks like an eclair' and now I'm not sure if I'm just hungry or not. Everyone since has told me it looks like a pair of dentures and now I can't unsee it.
It has a natural, unpolished front as seen in the photos - the back is cut but not polished, with rough grinding marks on it. I forgot to take a photo of this but will do soon.
This piece measures 146x64x30MM and weighs 330 grams approximately and comes from the Maharashtra region of India
I recommend keeping any specimens with Okenite in a sealed case - they tend to trap a lot of dust.
