Hartsop Hall Mine

Hartsop, Patterdale, Eden, Cumbria, England, UK

An abandoned lead mine worked sporadically between the 17th century and 1942.

It is now a National Trust property.

Of particular interest here is the fluorite found in the mine, uncommon in this part of Cumbria.
