Driggith Mine

Caldbeck, Allerdale, Cumbria, England, UK

A lead, zinc, and copper mine operated between the early 18th century and around 1874.

Mindat lists over 70 minerals from the site, mostly ore minerals.

The site kind of comprises two seperate sites. There is the lower level, Driggith Mine, and a higher level which is referred to as Driggith open cut, the source of the pyromorphite-mimetite crystals from the site.

Both Mindat locales are linked below.

The mine is estimated to have produced 3800 tons of lead and 40000 ounces of silver, however, the production records are incomplete.
