Brae Fell Mine

Roughton Gill, Caldbeck, Allerdale, Cumbria, England, UK

A former lead-copper-zinc mine on the Caldbeck Fells.

This mine was also known as ‘Braefell’ or ‘Brae-fell’.

I highly recommend reading the researchgate writeup on the site, which is a Russell Society journal and lists dozens of minerals from the site with a solid writeup of each.
