San Andrés Mine
Espiel, Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain
Spanish mine known for fine pyromorphite crystals.
Specimens from this site (Mina San Andrés) were primarily collected in 1980-1985, with some further collected in the 90s.
It is an extremely dangerous site for collecting – collectors inserted a metal tube to crawl through.
Perhaps considered to be the best pyromorphite crystals in Spain.
