Hat lease
Goldfield Mining District, Esmeralda County, Nevada, USA
The Hat Lease sits just east of the small town of Goldfield on US 95.
Showing the single result
Goldfield and the associated mining district is a former gold rush boomtown from the early 20th century, worked between 1903 and 1940.
The Hat Lease site specifically is known for pieces of hematite with an iridescent coating; these are sometimes labelled as turgite but this is a trade name and ideally shouldn’t be used.
