Wulfenite is a very pretty red-orange mineral which often occurs in bright tabular crystals, giving it an unusual and popular appearance.

It is a lead molybdate mineral, containing both lead and molybdenum; it is therefore a toxic mineral and should be handled carefully with a note made to wash hands after handling.
