End cutters are a type of wire cutters which cut by compressing the wire inward into the centre, indenting and wedging it apart. They are specifically designed for cutting the end of wire that is poking out for something, trying to get a flush fit with that surface.

The jaws are ground into a V shape, making an X shape when together. This means wire cut by them will typically have a slightly V shaped end which may require some additional finishing.

I have tested these cutters on 1MM hard copper wire, but would not recommend anything larger or harder than that to avoid damage to the blades.

Currently we only sell a single type, as part of our budget jewellery making tools line. They measure around 100MM in total.
