Unidentified Fish Fossils
Unidentified specimens of fossilised fish on their original stone matrix.
Our current stock includes:
- Small pieces of shale from Newsham, County Durham, measuring 20-30MM or 30-40MM each, usually consisting of a single scale or unknown piece.
Fossilised fish make a lovely gift for collectors, and especially for children. No two are ever the same, and they are so easy to relate to.. I have never seen a live trilobite or a raptor roaming the parks, but there are fish in almost every river or canal I walk past.
