Turquoise Mineral Specimens
Lovely aqua coloured Turquoise mineral specimens.
While they do have a good colour throughout the stones, they are not a high grade. They are intended for mineral collectors as a specimen, and will probably not be suitable for jewellery, etc.
Because they are a naturally occuring stone, the matrix and the mineral ore will be of different sizes and different colours.
We currently stock a few types -
- a greeny blue material from South Africa
- A stabilised Chinese Turquoise with great colour.
- A stabilised Iranian (West Asia) Turquoise with good colour, often occurring with pyrite.
- Turquoise in matrix from Armenia, which is sold in two grades, based on the amount of visible turquoise colour.
There is a lot of fake Turquoise on the market, but you can buy with confidence here - we choose our wholesalers very carefully.
The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade - but some photographs are still on their way!
