Tourmaline in Quartz cabochons (Tourmalinated Quartz)
These are gorgeous Tourmaline included Quartz cabochons, in a range of shapes and sizes.
Tourmalinated Quartz is more correctly known as 'Tourmaline included Quartz', or 'Quartz with Tourmaline inclusions'. Simply put, it is a form of Quartz with needle like inclusions of Tourmaline.
The most common form of Tourmaline to find included in Quartz is black Tourmaline, known as Schorl - however, I have seen numerous other colours of Tourmaline in Quartz, including the pink/red, green, blue and even watermelon varieties. If I manage to get any coloured Tourmaline in Quartz cabochons, they will be sold under a different listing - all of the cabochons sold here are Schorl, black Tourmaline.

This product is a little different from most of our cabochons - you can pick the specific one you're interested in.
These cabochons are ideal for setting into showy statement rings, earrings, necklaces or pendants. They are perhaps a little soft for daily wear as a ring but as a statement piece, it'll be fine - or daily wear pendants, earrings, etc.
The larger pieces may suit the wire wrappers among you - but please bear in mind some sections of these stones are clear.
