Staurolite crystal twins

Specimen pieces of Staurolite, showing the distinctive twinning that makes the mineral popular.

These pieces are from Madagascar, and are sold in 10 gram packets. I checked a packet, which had around 7 pieces in. The average is probably 5-9.

Some are damaged or incomplete; the majority measure between 10-20MM along their longest points.
