Hematoid Quartz Points (Iron Stained)

Interesting little Hematoid Quartz points from various locations around the world.

These pieces get their strong red colouration from Iron staining, and inclusions of Iron under the surface. They are reasonably common, and there are some very nice specimens around.

Our current stocks include:

30-40MM points from Spain
Various sizes of fragments from Madagascar - not full points, but fractured crystals. These 10 gram packets contain 2-5 pieces, with a reasonably uniform colour.
#1 - 51x41.7x20.9MM - a reasonably nice iron stained Quartz cluster, unfortunately from an unknown locale.
