A nice little specimen of Quartz on matrix from Porthoustock.

Comes with the original collectors label (1978) and a former owners label, as well as the one we provide for the specimen.

The collector and previous owner have this specimen labelled as 'Porthoustock Quarry', which unfortunately does not correspond to a named quarry I can find - it is most likely from one of the surrounding quarries, possibly Porthkerris Quarry or the West of England Quarry.

Our label is listed simply as Quartz from Porthoustock as no locale is clear.
