Specimen of botryoidal green pyromorphite from Roughton Gill, Cumbria.

This piece comes in a 1" perky box, already mounted and glued to the mounting - I'm not a huge fan of this but it is a nice mounting so I've left it as-is and tried to show the mounting in the photos. Stickers on the box for ID/locale. I suspect removing the specimen from the box would cause damage.

Unfortunately, this specimen was simply labelled "Roughten Gill" (sp.) and not 'Roughton Gill Mine'; so the specific locality is not known. It could be from Roughton Gill Mine, or any of the other mines on Roughton Gill.

Comes boxed with our ID label. Magnification is essential for this specimen.
