Grey-black cabochons cut from 'Picasso Stone', a unique form of marble.

Its bands, lines, and stripes in brown, grey and black are said to resemble the work of Picasso, hence the name.

It is, of course, a trade name. Picasso Stone is a dolomitic marble.
