Sheen Obsidian spheres / crystal balls

Gorgeous gold and silver sheen Obsidian crystal balls / spheres available in a few different sizes.

Obsidian is a form of volcanic glass often used for decorative items.

Due to the fragile nature of Obsidian, there are usually a few minor marks to the surface, and possibly some inclusions etc. In some cases there will be small cracks, but these are stable and not sharp - I've checked.

There are occasionally small areas where there was a void or bubble hole, and these have been filled with a dark resin mixed with Obsidian chips.

Sheen Obsidian has an unusual play of light caused by inclusions and alignments of gas bubbles under the surface; this causes a rolling shine - usually silver or gold, but sometimes occurring in rainbow colours too. It is best viewed under direct bright light.

• Grade A silver sheen Obsidian balls
• Grade B gold sheen Obsidian balls - best viewed under a bright direct light.

The key difference between the grades is in brightness and area covered - A grade pieces are largely covered in sheen, whereas the B grades may only show it in smaller areas.
