Mosaic Opal Cabochons

Mosaic Opal cabochons are perhaps an unusual way of presenting a precious stone, but they allow the use of tiny slivers and slices of Opal that would otherwise potentially be wasted.

Essentially, tiny slivers, offcuts, and slices of Opal are set into a resin over a black background - sometimes Onyx or another black gemstone.

We don't have a steady supply of these cabochons, and they typically only come to us when we buy someones collection or old stock. They are sold singly.
