Linarite, Brochantite, Caledonite, Cerussite in slag from East Roman Gravels Mine, Worthen with Shelve, Shropshire, England, UK
Bit of a mouthful, that title!
This is a good quality micro of various secondary minerals in 13th century lead slag from East Roman Gravels Mine, Shropshire.
- #1 - Comes boxed with our ID label; this specimen was part of Roger Harkers collection and has three of his labels on. It is mounted with glue and can't be removed to be measured fully. The labels are glued to the box; two were loose and have been re-attached with a conservation grade tape. The box is in a fairly poor condition overall, with a crack to the face. Ex.
