Goethite on Quartz Druzy
Stunning Moroccan geodes with needles of Goethite in Quartz druzy. These can be described as Goethite 'in' and 'on' Quartz, as most of the specimens include the Quartz as well as sit on top of it.
These are amazing little mineral specimens, especially at this price point. The black needles contrast nicely against clear/milky Quartz crystals.
They come from the Amerzgane commune in the Ouarzazate area of Morocco.
These pieces are what I would call dust-catchers - they should really be kept in a plastic display case.
