Fossil Spinosaurus Dinosaur Teeth
These are truly fascinating - fossilised Spinosaurus dinosaur teeth from the Cretaceous period, between 97 and 112 million years ago. Recently, palaeontologists discovered that Spinosaurus was most likely a river dwelling Dinosaur, the first that has been discovered.
They make a great gift for any fossil collector, or dinosaur loving child. I'd bet even a few older children would love them too...
Most of these teeth are reasonably preserved and mostly complete. However, the root or top of the tooth is often missing, unfortunately - as seen in the photos. In some cases patches of enamel are missing too, and there may be some evidence of repairs. The 'tip' or point of these teeth is usually rounded off, too - this is very common amongst these fossils.
Our current stock are all from Morocco:
- 10-20MM teeth tips - rounded and often with minor cracks, these have not been repaired.
- Various larger teeth, both with and without repairs.
