Fluorite from Heights Mine, Westgate, Stanhope, County Durham, England, UK

A nice specimen of pale purple-grey fluorite from Heights Mine.

While there unfortunately isn't much colour to this piece it is fantastically well formed with excellent condition crystal faces. Largest crystal is around 1" face.

Fluorescent under 365nm UV light, too.

The rear of the piece, which I unfortunately forgot to photograph, is saw cut and comes with a former owners ID number label (1x1cm). This specimen comes with two former owners labels and the collectors label dating it to 1989.
