A copy of the 1968 German language book "Die edelsteine der insel Ceylon".
This is a rather uncommon book by a pioneering gemstone researcher, Eduard Josef Gübelin (1913-2005). I actually can't find another copy for sale online currently.
This copy is signed by the author, to another prominent gemology researcher, E. Alan Jobbins (former Gem-A president), with the signature dated to October 1995.
The book itself is in acceptable condition with some bending to the covers. The photos are colour, and I'm afraid I can't comment on the rest of the book as my German is almost non-existent.
