Combination pliers for crafts

Reasonable all-rounders for most forms of crafts and DIY, combination pliers combine a small wire cutter with a grippy jaw.

The downside of the grippy jaw is that any items that are gripped are likely to be scratched, so they are not always ideal for crafting or jewellery making - however, it depends on the materials you're using, and what you're doing.

These are reasonably small pliers, around 115MM in length, and are intended for small closeup work such as crafts, electronics, or jewellery. The wire cutters can handle soft copper wire but probably not much more. If you are using them for electronics, please bear in mind that the handles will provide no resistance to electricity - these are not VDE rated pliers and should never be used on any circuits you suspect to be live.
