Faceted blue Apatite for jewellery making
Gorgeous cornflower blue faceted stones - blue Apatite is a nice alternative to other pale blue stones like Aquamarine or blue Topaz.
As a pale blue stone I feel it works best with silver, to create a very minimal contrast, an almost wintery look.
Apatite only measures 5 on the Mohs scale of hardness, so the setting should be designed to protect the stone, as it is not really hard enough to be ideal for daily jewellery use - however, it could always be made into an item that is kept out of harms way, like earrings or a pendant.
