Anatase on Quartz specimens

Interesting specimens of Anatase and Quartz, both as inclusions and as crystals on Quartz.

Our current stock includes:

#1 - 39.5x26.5x14.8MM - Tysse, Hardangervidda West, Ullensvang, Vestland, Norway - a very, very nice piece of almost water clear Quartz with numerous small bipyramidal crystals of Anatase, in a dark partially transparent blue. Most of the crystals have damage but some look to be complete. At least one is an inclusion under the surface of the Quartz, and at least one is both blue and orange. Tysse is an imprecise locale, and was likely given to collectors to hide the real locale, somewhere in Hardangervidda. The mindat page has a little more information.

#2 - 9.9x5.5x4.6MM - a micro specimen from an unknown locale. Quite a gemmy blue, rather nice specimen - shame there's no locality information attached to it.
