Rough Ametrine
Rough Ametrine pieces for collectors - small purple and orange crystals.
Ametrine is a combination of Amethyst and Citrine, caused by variable heating of the crystal as it forms. However, it is also possible to alter the crystal in a factory/laboratory by artificially heating it.
As far as I'm aware, these pieces are all natural Brazilian Ametrine. They aren't the best specimens and the colours are quite pale when not backlit - all photos were taken with a backlight. They likely all contain some clear Quartz too.
