Fullers Earth Workings

The Fullers Earth Workings were soil processing plants which extracted fullers earth, a clay used in cosmetics, wool making, and cat litter.
The site was originally opened sometime in the 1800s, and operated until 1995.
The quarry is now backfilled as a landfill site and reclaimed, the buildings remain but are in a poor state – several urban explorations of the site are linked below.
