Warden Point

A beach locale providing various mineral specimens including calcite, baryte, and pyrite.

Mindat lists eight minerals from the site, including gypsum, baryte, calcite and pyrite.

They are often found embedded in the clay, or formed in the cracks of phosphate nodules.

World War 2 gun emplacements or the remains thereof may still be visible on the beach.
