Showing the single result
To call this locale Samphire Hoe is not accurate, but it does seem to be done quite often by collectors.
Samphire Hoe is a nearby nature reserve formed by the waste rock dumped from the digging of the Channel Tunnel; it is not part of this locale but is the best place to park to access this locale.
The chalk boulders at the base of the cliff are known for several mineral species, including calcite, marcasite, pyrite and quartz.
