Niveligsberg

Drees, Kelberg, Vulkaneifel, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

Nivelsberg is a former quarry which worked lapilli tuffs and lava, digging through occasional pockets of mineralisation. The site is now an ‘off road driving experience’.

Presumably, as the site is now an offroading site, no further collecting is possible.

Mindat lists 38 mineral species from the site, particularly of micro minerals. I suspect the rutile and pseudobrookite from the site are likely to be of most interest to collectors.
