The Praborna mine is an abandoned mine exploiting the Praborna manganese deposits.

The mine produces a wide range of mineral species – mindat lists 74. It is the type locality for six minerals, including braunite, manganiandrosite-Ce, piemontite and strontiomelane.
Some unusual manganese minerals are found here too – alurgite, greenovite, violan.
