Levane
Bucine, Arezzo Province, Tuscany, Italy
A small village in Tuscany, known in mineral collecting circles for small geodes containing aragonite and kutnohorite.
Showing the single result
There is little else of mineralogical interest in this immediate area; the geodes are found in two areas of farmland near the village.
The nodules tend to be 1-5CM and have a thin shell. They are typically sold cracked, presumably to avoid selling solid rocks.
