Kesebol mine

A former Mn-Fe-Cu mine in west Sweden, north of Goteborg.

The mine produced some rare mineral specimens, including one for which it is the type locality – Kesebolite-(Ce). Other uncommon minerals include Ferriakasakaite-Ce, Flinkite, Gasparite-Ce, Neotocite, Ramsdellite, and Retzian-Ce.

The area was worked primarily for manganese during the World War periods during which Sweden had trade barriers and isolation preventing it from importing much Manganese.
