Dörnberg Mine

Olsberg, Hochsauerlandkreis, Arnsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

An ancient lead and zinc mine south of Ramsbeck.

According to Mindat there is a museum at this site now, but I can’t find any evidence of this, unless it refers to the Ramsbeck museum, a few kilometers away.

The site produces some interesting mineral specimens, some of which are quite uncommon – probably mostly of interest to micro-mineral collectors.
