A fossilised specimen of Toxaster, an extinct Echinoid (also known as a Sea Urchin).
Fossilised sea urchins are a relatively common find on some of the beaches of the UK, if you look carefully enough. The current stock is all from Morocco, though.
Grading system:
- Grade A - good quality, well detailed and complete.
- Grade B - complete, with okay detail but some areas of weathering or crush damage.
- Grade C - complete or incomplete, with lots of weathering or crush damage.
The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade – but some photographs are still on their way!
